In 1997 everything was printed at the PRCC. The flyers and promotions, Press Kits, invitations, the monthly magazines and even a few newsletters. In the beginning of the 2000’s, the economy hit us hard and the budget for the printed pieces was cut. These were my favorite projects and the company had no budget for them. It was also the beginning of emarketing and the green movement. I talked to our Executive Vice President, back then it was Mr. Edgardo Bigas, about looking at the new challenge of budget cutting from the green perspective. Instead of focusing on the money, lets focus on going green therefore, we went digital. It is true it wasn’t the same as turning pages or focusing on the texture of different papers, but now our publications were available to everybody. We were able to advertise within budget and we were helping the environment.
